Bull Breeding Program
Whitewater, the 10 year old Oscar bred bull was retired at the Reno Rodeo 2000. He is the only bull that has been bucked at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) with three of his sons, Watergate, Whitewall, and White Rock. His last competitive ride was 89 points with Ty Murray aboard at the Bakersfield Professional Bull Riders (PBR) 2000.
Julio Moreno began his breeding program in 1990 when he took F1 crossbred heifers and bred them to an NFR bull, #9 Copenhagen One Eye. The Twisselman bred bull from the Carissa Plains proved to be a wise choice as two of the bulls from this cross went to the NFR in 1993. The heifers resulting from this cross are the cows Julio now breeds to Whitewater.
Whitewater heifers averaged $3,000.00 at the Second Annual Buckers Sale in Ft. Worth, Texas. Whitewater is a premier sire in the Buckers Bull Breeding Program. He is currently being tested for International Semen Transportation. This will open up the Buckers Breeding Program throughout the world.
